I would love if the gov't would stop the farm subsidies. They never will because 78 percent of the money goes to welfare food stamps and to low income family school kids for a reduce meal.So there parents can still buy smokes and beer for themselves.

Do you realize that the Fina/7-11 station at Midland Dr & Wadley that you have been posting diesel prices for does not sell diesel? Maybe you are confusing it with the one up Midland Dr. at Raleigh, closer to the Loop?

I agree with your post on coal. We have clean coal technology and we need to use it.

By-the-way, good post!

"The US is the Saudia Arabia of coal, just need to find a way to clean up the very dirty emissions." Why should they do that? Why should they make things better and clean up the environment and keep jobs here at home? They could do that, but why!

Like your comment on money in politics. Have you ever heard of Arizona & Maine running 'Publicly-Funded' elections? Great idea, IMHO, whose time has come. Here's a link to Bill Moyers on PBS about it....

The Sunforce system is available through Many places. Northerntool.com has this very system for 349.99. It's a good "starter" kit. But Solar is addictive. I started with 1 - 5 watt panel, Then added two 15 watt panels. (which I still have and use). Then I went bigger and put in 3 - 205 watt panels, and a 400 watt wind turbine. I love it.
Good luck.
