Not sure what you are trying to say, but very few farmers and even less acres are planted to sweet corn, as you have to have a lot of hand labor for harvest unless you have a very large operation where it is machine harvested once and tilled under. Moreover, unless you plan to sell in a Farmers Market, your labor costs are excruciating, as the shelf life of sweet corn is only a couple of days without refrigeration. The point: There are 2.8 million acres of field corn, with about 12 % going to ethanol, and only about 125,000 acres of sweet corn. Ethanol is a great market for farmers who have a huge surplus of corn, and moreover it is renewable and can be grown every year. BTW, our next limiting factor is water which the oil companies out bid us for for fracking, therefore there is less water to grow your sweet corn as oil is now using a very large portion limiting corn production.
